My Ferris 3100Z is leaking oil from the left wheel motor. The motor is a Parker and has two long numbers on the tag. I've looked for a seal/o-ring kit for it but can't find one. Anybody know where to find a kit for it? Thanks, gregjo1948

Pull the motor and remove the seal, there should be a number on it for replacement , I'd get 2 so you'll have a spare

I already have the motor out and have numbers off it. It has an oil seal over the axle and several O-rings within the sections of the motor. I'm trying to find the seal and the O-rings. Quite sure I could get the seal separately but, I need the O-rings and probably they all come as a kit.

Not sure what size the o rings are but an O ring kit may have one you can replace it with ,
I've had to build o rings in the past with o ring stock and superglue when push comes to shove

Hope I don't need to make them as, there are about 6 of them.

what size is the largest one ? If it's under 2 inches in diameter , the O ring kit will probably have it

It is a heck a lot easier to look-up thing when the OP actually posts the model and serial numbers from the serial number tag because there is at least 30 variation of the IS3100Z out there plus some even have serial number breaks that affect which parts are used.

Just for your info--I sent Parker all the numbers off the tag on the Parker wheel motor and the number that was stamped into the housing. This isn't my first time looking for parts. I didn't ask for the part number for the kit. I just ask where I could get a seal kit. It shouldn't matter what "variation" the mower is. Did you learn how to read or do you just guess at what's there?

I want a seal/O-ring kit. There is a seal and several O-rings in these motors. The outer seal on the axle wasn't leaking, but I'll replace it while I'm in there.
