Does FD791D have a speed sensor? Injectors not firing. Thanks
Wiring from coils to ECU checkout good. Have tested ECU on on other unit, works fine. discoed kill wire to ignition, tested injectors, they work. This one has me stumped. Starts on either, so coils are working. No speed sensor. Injectors are controlled thru the ground circuit of the ignition coils. Check for continuity of the ground wires to the coils and good connection at the coils. Check the connector at the control unit mounted on the radiator. Make sure there isn't any corrosion or damaged pins.
Light not flashing codes. Can manually fire injectors@cableguy52 , is the malfunction indicator light flashing? By stating that the injectors work, how was this confirmed?
I think the OP means ether.
The OP needs to Download the service manual and perform the tests in the manual to narrow down the problem area.

Will only run when spraying starter fluidYou wrote "injectors not firing". If it will start and run on either, then I'm missing what the issue is.
