Any one had troubles with these over charging. This unit here is over charging up to 17.5. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet just what he said it was doing. Kinda of different most under charge or not charging.

It is the rectifrier which is now fried and will need replacement
Or rather the regulator side of the rectifrier but as they are not serviceable it makes little difference.

This unit is a scag mower with the ka in it. Wiring harness has been cut. The relays have been hard wired in with the wires cut out of the harness. Has new regulator in it but don't mean it's good. Tried new battery same issue over charging. The problem just might be in the both the wiring harnesses itself. I'll keep y'all posted.

Nope.
If the wires are correctly connected to the rectifier & it is the correct rectifier then the rectifier regulates the current regardless of the rest of the wiring.
Best you can do is just run a wire from the + on the rectifier directly to the battery and verify the rectifiers ground.
A regulated rectifier uses battery voltage to control the charging but still should never get over 14.5 Volts.
Also double check the rectifier connection Kawasaki like to use an AC - DC -AC layout where as every one else uses AC- AC - DC pinning.
