Manual says red grease or high temp lithium. I have Lucas X-tra which is Polyurea according to data sheet..BUT then underneath data, it says it is a shear stable. According to grease compatibility charts, conventional Polyurea is not compatible with lithium, but Shear stable is. Google search shows a few posts stating Lucas X-tra is not compatible because it's conventional Poluyrea. It clearly states it is a shear stable product, so I'm OK to pump the Lucas into new 600z spindles? http://lucasoil.com/pdf/TDS_XtraHDGrease.pdf
i don't really know the answer about the grease you have but I'm defenetly not a fan of mixing grease, no more than a tube cost if it were me I would go by hi temp lithium to use in my mower.
No
you can use one or the other, but not mix them
They are mechanically the similar but chemically different and will react with each other.
So but the recommended grease or wash the bearings & spindle and use what you have.
Always easier to have only 1 grease
