I have an oldie but goodie Zero turn with a Kohler Command 27 engine. Now this thing only starts but dies quickly. Seems like it running out of fuel. I cleaned the carby and I even checked the fuel solenoid that seems to be working properly. Fuel is coming out of the fuel line hose that hooks up to the carby. Just starts then stops immediately. It has self adjusting valves and seems to run out of fuel. It will not stay running. I have replaced the in line fuel filter along with both spark plugs.

I have given up. It was working fine until recently.

Any suggestions ?

Please respond.

Thanks.

Get an in line plug tester.
Watch what happens when the engine dies.
Could very wellbe a short in one of the safety switches earthing out the ignition coils and not in the carb at all.
Try the mower with partial choke .
If it keeps running with the chke partially closed then you most likely still have a fuel supply problem
