This is from the 1984 Sears Spring and Summer catalog. This looks like a throwback to the 1960s. Very interesting that they made something like this as late as the 80s:

Interesting to say the least. Wonder how long that rig stayed on the market? And to answer your question, nope never seen one before.

That particular rig no but sulkies on self propelled are still made and sell quite well.
You see them mainly on reel mowers where you can add several different sulkies for different jobs.
Heavy roller, light roller, spikes for aireating, rubber for striping & normal tyres.
