I have a 5 year old craftsman 21hp B&S lawn tractor. The problem is it starts strong normally but after mowing 30+min and turning off the engine, it will not start until cool. No clicking no cranking. New battery (4 wks), new solenoid (36hours) oil full, gas ok. runs well when it does start. problem started 4 weeks ago. Help

Do you wash or hose off engine & tractor after using?

Occasionally but not after each use.

Start with battery voltage before you start mowing
Engine on full speed
When you finish mowing
Check the battery leads both ends and when you finish, feel them, are they warm / hot ?
Reach behind the dash pull the key switch plug off & push back on a couple of times ( terminals are self cleaning )

I will try the last one. I did the others and was normal. Thanks any other suggestions?
