I want to replace my 23hp kohler pro on a toro z master with a larger hp kohler but not having luck find which motors will bolt in. Anyone know a place on the web that has this info or should I just go to my dealer and have him get it. Looking for a direct bolt in

That size of engine range will bolt on, what you need to know is your crankshaft length and diameter, and what charging system you need,
wire harness, etc.....

Contact a few of the small engine websites, they likely have specs on most models and could help you out. If you buy an engine from a
dealer, you will pay dearly for that luxury.

Otherwise it would be wise to wait until you have a day to drop off the clutch and pulley and use a tape measure, should only take an hour or two...

If you go look at 10 engines maybe just maybe one will NOT have the same shaft size.

(( cowboy up and get over it ))

So you are suggesting he just guesses his shaft size and buy a $1400 engine? OK, tell him what size he needs then.

The engine sites should be able to help, as you have a horizontal Kohler utilizing the whole crank shaft then.

I have to ask, why in the world do you think you need to go with a bigger h.p. engine??

I've got 1400 hrs on it and its made a couple noises that r starting to make me worried. Figured it would b cheaper then buying new and can't believe anything else can go bad aside from miner repairs. If I am spending the money why not get alittle more power
