I have a 19hp Briggs and Stratton engine on a Husqvarna 2042 YTH. I have changed the plug, cleaned fuel tank, cleaned carburetor, and checked the seat switch. The issue is that after about an hour of mower the engine will stutter/bog down. I can release the blade switch the engine will sometimes speed back up. But if it does cut off it will start back up immediately. It will then still do the stutter/big. If I leg the mower set for 2 -3hours it will run normally for another hour. Then the issue reoccurs. It just has me baffled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be your gas tank vent, next time it happens take the gas cap off and put back on. It could also be vaper lock (fuel gets to hot and boils), if it is vaper lock check the cooling system on the mower (plugged cooling fins).
