I'm not much with wiring stuff but thought this would be easy just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
All the safeties have been removed but I want to hook up a three connector keyed switch.
I can't see you get power or I'm missing something.
I tired to include pics but I can't see too since the file size is too big and can't be reduced.
Any help would be great

We will walk you through rewiring it as per factory and even how to modify some parts that give problems like seat switches that are too sensitive .
But because we are all responsible adults who care about the safety of others we will not tell you how to bypass all of the safety switches and turn the mower from a dangerous tool into a potentially lethal one.

And while all mowers are basically wired the same it helps if we know what brand and which model .

The motor is no longer in a lawn mower chassis, it's in a frame that half is made to hold the motor and rear wheels and the other half is a four wheeler front.
I want to wire it to run but has a ignition with key so it can't be driven without supervision.
Its a BS IC platinum 16HP OHV

Get an after market switch with letters printed on the back as that will make things easier
M=Magneto
G = Ground
B = Battery
S = starter
A =Alternator
And the wires go just where you would think
The odd one out is the fuel solenoid which can go to the A terminal
The new "atlantic" range from Stens do not seem to be numbered ( Lettered) any more so I am now using ones from Rotary.
The better switches are the John Deere style as they use a real tumbler key .
You can not use a car switch because they do not have a grounding contact in the off position for the magneto.

What kind of motor is it? It might need nothing more than a two-pole, two-throw switch with a key. Or, if it's a matter of kids driving it without permission, the same switch with no key and a leather "do not drive" belt.
