Sorry to the derail this thread but this is my first time posting and not sure how to get in. Anyhow, the ice got the best of me, and I slipped and fell and broken arm but that didn’t stop the snow. I cannot with one arm operate my conventional blower so I’m looking for an electric one… 16 - 18” that I can handle with one arm.. any suggestions? This would depend more on the user than the piece of equipment, Plus the condition of the deck. Any raised edges will show scratches. 40 VDC might be a little light for any wet snow, I would go with a minimum of 60 VDC.
Good advice, Sussana! Nice pic and welcome aboard . . .I am so sorry to hear about your arm, but I really admire the determination to keep the deck clear even while you're sidelined! Since you're working one-handed, look for a model with a "push-button" start and a central loop handle, as these are much easier to stabilize against your hip while you steer.
