This summer I got a honda 4 cycle trimmer to go along with my new ztr exmark, honda push, and echo blower as my lawn equipment upgrade. Or as my wife like to say, my midlife crisis. Love the trimmer, works great, etc. Knowing I dont need it, an offer for a used but excellent running condition echo srm230 with newly added speed feed head has pop up for 120.00. Has minimal residential only use, had carb replaced and has been seviced by trusted professional. Been looking for quality 2 cycle to finish out my upgrade/mid life crisis
. My question is for those who use echos, what is you opinion of the 230 and does this seem like a good deal at 120.00?

That is a very good price. They retail for $290! I have never used the SRM-230 personally, but I have only heard good reviews about it. I would go for it.

Decided 120 for a srm 230 with speed feed head is too good to pass on. My wife will be so happy. Haha

I like my Echo blower and my Mantis tiller & hedger (both echo powered). Also enjoy my Husqvarna trimmer just in case you'd like another to consider.

Here's hoping it serves you better than my SRM 210. It also has a new carburetor on order.

New carb. New fuel filter/lines. New air filter. Speed feed head. Just servicing the trimmer top to bottom. Totally trust the servicing. Ended up getting for 100. Runs great idles strong.
