I was think about it and sold my 150bt yesterday and my old dump cart for a total of 290 $ and I wanted a new blower and I didn't wanna spend a bunch till fall as I am trying to save for a 6foot and 4inch trailer by 12-14 feet long since I will be able to drive with my truck next year and I didn't want the Stihl br200 no power there and the echo has more power then the 150bt so I bout this and during the fall I plan to buy a 770 as it is the second strongest to the redmax 8500.

If this makes any sences to you also I am going to purchase and 42inch riding mower this year and next year plan to get a scag or exmark floating deck walkbehind

You say you didn't want the Stihl BR 200 because of the power level. I hope you realize what you purchased and how much power the PB 500T has along with the 700 you want to purchase. Granted the 500 is a strong blower than the BR 200 but not buy much. You really have too watch Echo and some of the others because there's a lot of misleading going on with those guys.

I bought mine for about $340.00 or so (thanks, WA state sales tax of 8.3%) from the local Home Depot. It has been very easy to start in all temperatures (3 squirts of primer bulb, one pull with choke on, it will usually cough, second pull starts and immediately go to zero choke). As far as a portable hurricane, it does everything I need it to do, and has been utterly reliable.

I just bought one of these said to be a year old off CL for 100$ hope it works out . Def not as powerful as I would have hoped. I bought it because my bg55 stihl handheld was down and in the shop and this doesn't really seem to be any more powerful

One of the many thing I don't like about used equipment they can always lie to get money he could have used it commercially an ran it into the dirt  mime is plenty powerful

It probably wont feel anymore powerful than the BG 55, there is only 23mph difference between it and the 500T.

It a 55 mph difference an a 43 difference in cfm the blower is more powerful but not by much I do like both brands so I am not siding with either of them I plan to buy a larger blower this fall an I am between the br 600 and the pb770

The Stihl BG 55 is 140mph, The PB 150T is 163mph that's 23mph difference at the tube end. The maximum air speed achieved would be at the pipe without the tube. Maximum performance as they say on there site 195mph at 465 cfm @ the pipe or housing without the tube. All blowers are tested the same. My BR 550 is 530cfm @ the tube, without the tube which is maximum performance it's 870CFM @ the pipe or without the tube.

I used it a little more yesterday it is slightly more powerful just I'm not convinced its worth double and more the cost of my bg55 but I do like how easy it is to work on it . Same goes with my echo trimmer.

There's not a whole lot of difference to find, your BG55 is 418 cfm the PB150t is 465 cfm that's not much of a noticeable difference.

This is true to notice or you need to have 200-300 more cfm then what you have now to notice a lot more power
