I purchased the PB-580T new from Home Depot two years ago and ever since I've owned it I've had trouble getting it started after about 4 uses. Every time though I'm able to pull the carb and clean the sludge from the small round screen to get it going. I've gone through the tank, fuel lines, filter, new gas, etc.......and can't understand why the screen has so much grime in it. Once I blow it out with carb cleaner, it runs great for a few more times. Any ideas?

Replace the fuel lines & filter
Fit a ceramic one , usually called Pourex.
You probably have a bad filter or a hole in the fuel line so you are sucking in unfiltered fuel.
Double check hat the carb is connected properly so the shor line is the return & the long line is the pick up
Return is the one closest to the purge bulb.
