Do you dry the flowers in your garden? I try to dry and reuse as many of them as I can for other things.
Does anyone else?

My mom use to do that & my brother, but he was in the floral business...
I have a friend that makes custom order wreaths, she is very creative and makes most of her supplies...
It sounds like you are also a creative and gifted artistic type of person also...:thumbsup:

I like to dry them to use for stationary. They also are great for decoration and for using in crafts that I can do with the kids. What is your favorite flower to dry?

Sunflowers and those type seem to dry the most intact, roses tend to turn colors as do peonies. I haven't had much luck drying lilies either,I stick to sunflowers, daisies and black eyed susans.

I would love to learn to dry flowers, is it hard to do or can a real newbie do it? Do I need any special equipment? Can you dry wild plants or just things you grow in your garden?

Hehe, yeah me too. I have gone sailing a couple times this week and had a nice time swimming off the boat. Now I am behind in my yard work and might need a quick fix!
