I am looking for help to solve problems on my lawn grass
I have a lot of dry patches that when from green to dried out spots and stayed
that way this year ,then I have patches of dry earth were grass was before
and I have a lot of Dandelions all over my lawn .

please can some one help me

Cut the grass higher 2" to 5" is recommended and 4" to5" if you are ina dry region and do not have the time or water to soak the grass at least twice a week in high summer.

Silver dollar patches is what it sounds like.
I rake the dead grass out and then use a lawn fungus control.
Use what you like and treat that spot(s).
Also use that product at the start of growing season.
Water in and let the surrounding grass fill in the bad area. It will take time.
Use a pre-emergent for all lawn weeds at start of growing season too.

Can be a lot of different things, pictures would help diagnose it.
