lets share self-build (or improvised) ocdc (operator controlled discharge chutes)
here's some fancy and expensive, and some improvised (but made job done) - priceles : ))))
we had one like on exmark below (~$300) - it felt apart in no time...
what we using now - literaly - priceles
newer mind it looks too fancy- it make the job done : ))))
and no matter how badly beat-up it gets, - it lasts forewer

p.s. out of topic, but: that's the way sulky been attached by previous owner - no reinforcement, but seems holds good - no deformation ...
blocks (on picture left corner) - wooden boards sckrewed togeter - compact and light, you take one with you when you need to go on tall curbe

I had a Billy Goat and didn't like (along with many other things) how if you wanted to lift up the rubber discharge chute while mowing (and wanted it to stay up) you had to set it against the muffler which in turn would burn the rubber and put a black mark on the muffler. :confused2:

modded chute in a bit wet conditions
windrows of grass - not going to damage lawn - it's not clumps, not pressed to the ground, and easy to deal with: most of the time it can be blown -off by going over it with deck -up or with the blower or just trimmer
