I have a 2760 Dixie Chopper with a 27 Generac engine I am changing out to a 35 Kawasaki KX1000V. The oil plug back out of the Generac and it shut down with a scary clanging sound so I knew I might as well go on the hunt. The 35 Kawasaki didn't come with a muffler and I have looked high and low for a muffler that will fit to no avail. Is there any of you gear heads out there that might know what muffler I will need or what mufflers will interchange with this 1000V engine I have? BTW, there's another number that may help but I have tried them all....FXT00VDS19R. Thanks in advance because I know somebody out there knows exactly what I need.
The muffler is a Dixie part not a Kawasaki part so the best you will be able to do is get a Kawasaki muffler, cut off the headder pipes then cut the pipes off the Dixie muffler and weld the Kawasaki pipes to the Dixie
