New here...appreciate any help that can be given.

2016 Exmark Lazer Z series with Kohler engine. Issue just started today. I'll be mowing with the deck engaged and all the sudden, I'll lose about 1/3 power. Mower stays engaged and cutting...just at a lower rpm. After around 10 seconds, the power comes back. Issue happened half a dozen times while mowing an acre.

Any ideas?

sounds like dropping out a cylinder, or water in the fuel. I'd make sure you have new clean fuel, and put some water absorbent in it like HEAT, unless it is a diesel. You can keep an eye on echaust manifold temperatures on both sides, and see if one side is running cooler when the power drops out. Can also be things like bad spark plug.

Failing ignition coil on one bank, or a failing injector.

Try unplugging and re-plugging one connector at a time to see if the problem corrects itself for a short time. Pin corrosion in connectors is not uncommon.

DeOxit 5 contact spray is a great product that will lightly clean electrical terminals.

New spark plugs - Check
New air filter - Check (hadn't changed that in 5 years)
New oil and filter - Check
Fresh gas - Check
New PTO switch - Check

We'll see what tomorrow brings.
