deck won't stay level

I have a 2 year old cub cadet with 23 hp kohler and 46" deck. I can level the deck just like the manual says and after one mowing it needs leveling again. I got 2 lock washers and put them between the adjusting nut and the lock nut and it still was off by 1/4 inch after one mowing. Any help would be appreciated.

What model mower is it?

Heck a 1/4 inch I could live with unless you are cutting your grass real short.

The mower is the endure series XT1 model number 13WQA1CN010. The problem is not the 1/4" after one mowing, but after 3 or 4 it's off by 3/4 or more.
