The deck on my favorite* mower, a 20 to 25 year old Wheeler manufactured by MTD, is falling apart. I've replaced the handle brackets, had to reinforce the bracket bolts with huge fender washers as the deck is cracking all over.
I just got a Lawnboy rolling chassis. Deck, wheels, handle.
Will the Tecumseh motor fit without a lot of hassle?
I measured and blade won't fit, 22" wheeler vs 20.5" Lawnboy.
Is the mounting bolt circle the same diameter? I figure I'll have to drill a couple holes for the bolts to line up with the motor mounting holes.
*Favorite because the motor has always started on the first pull. Gotta love that.
