If your belt tension is not adequate, you may need to buy a spring at hardware store that is close enough and will work. In a pinch you can heat up existing spring and cut it shorter to restore good belt tension.
True........with this little surprise none of the tensioner linkage/brackets are on the mower. There is one idler, bolted in place, with nothing to tighten the belt on the deck.

The owner "got a heck of a deal" on the mower:oops: I'm going to fab a couple of brackets and patten them after the last version I see in the CC website parts lists.

Keeps a retiree busy!
