Weed and feed. Make sure they are wet and in full bloom contact with the leaves is what kills em after you apply wet wait a day or two to water again they will die. If you are doing this commercially make sure you have your licences.

My personal lawn I just pull them its the best way just a bit more time consuming.

Another way is the kind you hook up to your hose ortho weed b gone and apply just like weed and feed annd wait to water

I personally just pull the dandelions out of the ground with my fiskars weeder. They can be pretty pricey though ($35) so I recommend you just to buy a used one off of craigslist, mine in mint condition was only 10 dollars

If you have a few pull or spot spray. If you have a yard full then you can spray now with the suggested weed killer if you wish and then again this fall. Fall is the best one as it gets all the ones that have sprouted all season long. Most fall dandylions flower and seed after being sprayed in the spring and summer around here. Very few flower and seed though after a fall treatment. If you have henbit, chickweed, or other winter weeds then you can get them in the fall at the same time.

Remember every time you cut your grass you are helping the weeds to reseed so let them grow and bloom before spraying then wait a week before you mow

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))

bigjay282,
I'll never forget the laughs my wife & I shared watching our neighbor across the street digging up dandelions with a tablespoon.....for hours(and every year:0)
Just to add insult to injury, his next door neighbors would mow towards his yard to spray the seeds from their dandelions just to keep him busy every year:0)
Right now, my two next-door-neighbors aren't real happy with me.....I'm chasing the moles(major tunnels!!!) out of my yard with castor oil repellent, grub insecticide and when necessary, poison pellets to kill them(three guesses where those moles will go if not killed, and your first two guesses don't count:0)
One of my neighbors said(when I told them what I was doing)..."I guess I'm gonna have to go out and spend my money to do what you are doing"....she had a somewhat sarcastic tone of voice:0(
