I am looking at buying a JD D105. they are $1500 right now but I'm not sure what they cost at the beginning of the season. So I'm trying to decide if I should by one now or wait till beginning of next here and get a new one, but how much more will it cost?

Or there is a 2011 D130 for sale at an estate sale. it has 157 Hrs. An old gentleman owned it but has passed away so I don't know to much about how it was used or maintained. They are asking $1500 for it or $1800 w/ trailer and bagger.

I only have 3/4 acre to mow that is relatively flat. Any suggestions?

Is John Deere the only mower you have looked at?

You can shop around and find a mower in your $1500 that is better than the John Deere.

I use many riding mowers and I have found that In This price range the cub cadet ltx 1040 stands out over most.

Not saying JD is bad but their low end mowers IMO are just junk

(( cowboy up and get over it ))

I looked at some of the craftsmans but it just seemed like there were more issues with their new mowers and not very good customer service for them. Again this is reading reviews for them.
