what do you need new rod bolts for?

One snapped where threads ended and shank meet at 100 in. lb.

Rod bolts are M6 (size)-1.0(pitch)x50mm(length of shank and thread combined) grade 10.9.

You can the Flange head on Amazon. but you need to buy 12 ea of them which is still a lot cheaper than the rod assy.

New lifters won't seem to stop pecking. Let it idle for about 3 minutes and still pecking. This normal? Reassembly states do not pump lifters up before installation. New pushrods do not have the hole like the old ones I replaced. Thinking of putting old pushrods with hole back in. non-adjustable rockers torqued to 100in. lb. Any suggestions?

what oil are you using? I had a Kohler cv15 that would tick, I think Quaker state 10w30 was used, I switched to Kohler's 10w30 and it stopped after about 20+ minutes of run time..

what oil are you using?

Pennzoil 5w30 full synthetic. Maybe I will give it some more time at low RPMs. Manual states 90 seconds.

Let it idle for about 25-30 minutes minutes...finally stopped ticking.
