Customer going to feel like an idiot

Customer brings a 2018 Husqvarna 435E-II that will not start.

First the engine cover broke as I open it up to the air filter back on. Found primer very sluggish.

In fifteen years never had one with this problem but I have heard of it.

Pull, pull, pull, and then a lot more.......




They just don't run on bar oil and water. Plus the bar oil tank was full of fuel mix.

Dang it took nearly 30 minutes to get it to hit. Boy that one expensive mistake as I got to charge an hour labor for the 50 minutes it took to get it running halfway right.

I have had 2-3 of those come into the shop over the years. And they can be a pain. Also had one with diesel fuel in the tank.

Now I have had a Toro ZTR in the shop with 5 gallons of diesel. Not the same customer.

Had a pressure washer with diesel put in it this summer. I called her “Smokey”. Ran fine after the smoke cleared.
