I was not getting gas to the carb. I changed the fuel filter, and still had the problem. Line is in OK shape -- no leaks. I siphoned gas into the filter, and then kept the motor going by pouring gas into the carb. After about 8 ounces of gas, the pump started working. I mowed the grass and then started it again the next day. Did I revive the pump?

If it is like my cub, the bottom of the fuel bowl was dry and by pouring the gas in the fuel pump refilled the carb bowl.

That sounds like what happened. I did not check the bowel. Thanks!

How did you fill the carb fuel bowel to get it started?
