Lap bars & parking brake are connected so you can not drive away with the brake on
So one or the other switch is faulty.
Some of the ZTR's use an interlock in the hour meter which is easy to determine .
If the hour meter has more then 2 wires, it is an interlock switch
Some use a kill relay that is connected to the lap bars & parking brake
