Anyone use the mulch kit on their cub cadet zero turn? I do have to mow the back of my property at 3 inches so it dries out faster after heavy rains. Any issues with clogging with the mulch kit?

Mulch kits on anything larger than a 21” mower are usually no good. I don’t even like them on 22” mowers. Raise the discharge chute at 45 degree angle and let that grass fly. Better on the mower, the lawn, and quality of cut. Lower discharge chute around people, cars, or windows for potential rocks being thrown. Mulching grass, like bagging grass, is for the birds.

Mulching only works half decent on fall leaves.

The only large deck that I have used was a John Deere Freedom deck that mulched very well which is not on ZTR, every thing else clogs when mulching that I have worked on.
