In the Cub Cadet parts manual on Page 25 "Oil Pan And Lubrication" it shows
under Ref No.16- Part Number-KH-24-136-01-Description-Nipple,oil Filter
I removed the oil filter and there is nothing like that. There is a hole on the
left side that is covered over when a oil filter is put back on. Is this where the
part should fit? Tractor belongs to my Daughter and this is first time for me
in taking off her oil filter. I am also wondering with this part missing is cause
of tractor leaking oil. Need help
It goes into the middle of the filter housing .
There are two. a long one for engines with an oil cooler and a short one for engines with out an oil cooler.
You would only replace it if you were fitting or removing the oil cooler.
It is not a normal service replacement part
