I appreciate any assistance you could provide me regarding my Cub Cadet SC100 push mower.
I bought the mower in 2019 and have had zero issues and always properly maintained. Last summer I cleaned the carburetor and fuel filter although it looked like neither needed it.
Since that service, however, I noticed the mower starts up just fine but once it’s warmed up (about 5 minutes) and when I stop to empty the bag and re-start, the engine revs really high then slows down and I loose significant power. Sometimes (instead of revving high), it even re-starts with really low power and remains like that.
What is responsible for this power loss? And why does it only occur once it’s warmed up? The engine is still the 159cc Cub Cadet® OHV engine.
