Cub cadet part broke.. help identifying please

well.. something now broke, actually burned than tilted this part.. can someone please look at these pics and tell me what part i need to order to get this replaced?.. 2006 super LT 1550belt wobbling

not sure if this damage is related to my previous post about the

also, suggestions on how this happened and can it be prevented.. or is it just standard maintenence.

is the "Blade shaft spindle" hard to replace once i order the part?

No its pretty easy but assume that the four mounting bolts will break off when you go to remove them so it wouldn't be a bad idea to also get new bolts to put the new one back one.

bolts actually came off pretty easily.. was surprised...

the cub cadet original part w/ shipping was around $100.. the replacement on amazon (which i purchased) was around $50

Oregon spindles with blades are available from Pat's Small Engines for less than $50 and they are greaseable. I drilled mine out and bolted them to the deck with nut and lock washers.
