Cub Cadet Mower motor shut down problem

There are do many simple things that can go wrong - tune up kit is about 15.00 . Plug fuel filter (get the rubber fuel line too ) and an air filter is in the package . With a screw driver and a socket wrench you are tuning up the engine in less than five minutes .
Next - common problem in my shop is mice damage - follow the wire loom from the dash to the battery and to the engine. Look for a nest / chewed wires .
Dried out fuel line can suck air and shut you down . You spark plug coil can be failing . Chewed wire can be hitting medal and shutting you down.
