I would like to install new wiring and a toggle switch for electric clutch
Any info appreciated

Why not just put a PTO switch back in. New part number Oregon 33-083 $10.97 at Oregon 33-083 PTO Switch Replaces 925-04175, 925-04258

I would rather use a toggle switch if direct wiring from battery will not harm electric clutch
I am a fairly competent mechanic i rebuilt all the blade spindles using only stainless steel shims
Blades operate smoother than they ever did there was always some vibration before

Would i damage the blade clutch if i did this???????????????????

As long as you follow the wiring schematic and voltage then no.

I would need to isolate power and ground wire so i have a direct connection

You can for right off the battery.

I tap into the wire going from the regulator to the battery.

My snapper came factory with just a toggle switch.
