Cub Cadet LT1045 engine cracked 44.7 hours

My expensive mower did not even make it to 3rd season. Engine cracked. Not sure what to do. Oil leaked all over. Well kept inside & well maintained. Problems started with muffler and excessive vibration. Then engine cracked & it only has 44.7 hours. I need to know if there is anything I can do to get this fixed. The warranty is past.

Is it just at the place the bolt goes through? Or does it extend farther in the case?

It could be welded... but depending how far the crack goes, it can also be patched with an epoxy...

The "vibration" may have caused this, so you need to investigate farther to find what caused the vibration... Post back with the extent of the crack... :smile:KennyV
