Cub Cadet LT 1045

I am trying to determine how to properly install a Briggs I/C Platinum 19 hp twin turbo into my Cub Cadet LT 1045. The previous owner replaced the Kohler engine with this Briggs. It will not start on its own but I can force it to start by jumping it with cables to my truck battery. So long as I don't get out of the seat to engage the shut off switch it will run all until it runs out of gas. However if I stop it will not start until I jump it again. It acts as if the battery is dead and cant crank the motor fast enough to fire. I get about two thirds of a crank out of the engine and it stops there. I have a Craftsman mower with this same motor and it starts flawlessly every time. I have fully charged this battery and have even tried a different fully charged battery with same results. Can this engine be used as a replacement in this mower. I have myself convinced it is not wired correctly or may have the wrong voltage required to fire the engine. has anyone ever put this type of Briggs in a Cub? I will upload pictures later today to show you all what was attempted. maybe this will help others to understand better what I am dealing with. Very Frustrated at this point.........

....also I had taken the caps off of one of these batteries to check the level of fluids in it. After using distilled water to top them off I replace the caps ( which have small overflow holes built into them ) The first time I threw the key switch to start it it blew the fluid out of both caps !!! Is the wire job on this engine replacement back feeding power to the battery to make the fluid pour out of it like it may have been shorted?

For a battery to work properly, the CCA (cold crank amps) has to be good. Just because you have 13.X volts doesn't mean its going to crank. I would replace the battery with a fresh one then see if it would start.

As for acid spitting back out, thats an indicator of overcharging. Reference my above statement.

If the acid spits out with the engine running then could be over charging.
But it spit out when you tried to crank the engine I would say over full.

I have a briggs that acts like this.
I have adjusted the valves and still no change.

This is what I do.

Start with a good battery before you try to start it turn the engine by hand clockwise
It will get hard to turn them easy and right back to hard. When it gets hard the second time turn till it just starts to get easy. Now try and start it.

My battery is new with 420 CA and it will not crank the engine if I do not turn it by hand first

A long time ago i disconnected the seat shut off it was nothing but trouble
