I have a Cub Cadet XT1. I want to repair a rear tire leak so I have to raise the rear tire. I'd appreciate some information on where to place a jack. I assume it's under the hitch mount but am not certain.
Thanks.

I have a modified floor jack with a pin that I use if the crane is busy .
The pin of course goes through the hitch hole

What you use to jack or raise the mower up just makes sure it secured the wheels are clock to prevent rolling.

I normally place the jack under the transmission.
The rear of the mower is probably only around 150 lbs. so I suspect it's safe to lift there but I'm afraid to jack at the transmission, given the cost. I think I'm going to stick with the draw bar / hitch mount. Interestingly, though, I spoke with Cub Cadet and they couldn't advise me. Not very impressive.
