I have a 1050 Cub Cadet, 26 hp Kohler. Is there a fuel shut off switch or valve and where is it located. Are my GATOR blades the cause of a terrible looking mowing job. I always have to go back over, like it's missing a section of grass. What are the best blades for a beautiful looking cut. I do not have a bagger. Thank you, Janene. :confused2:

The gator blades should give you a cut cut.
How tall is the grass?
Is the grass wet?
Are you going to fast?

Gator blade are not made for cutting tall thick wet grass.
If your trying to cut 8 inch grass down to a inch then your going to cut twice and make a mess.

As far as the fuel shut off it should be on the bottom of the bowl on the carb. Will have two wires on it.

Go on and post your model numbers of the engine. A small engine tech will be along shortly and ask you for them.

(( cowboy up and get over it ))
