Actually I was looking for a way of starting the engine BEFORE reinstalling it ------
Can it be as simple as 12v directly to the fuel pump and coils---then jump the starter solenoid ???????
I definitely don't want to damage anything after just having rebuilt it but neither do I want to reinstall it to find out I missed something----then there is the issue of all the interlocking switches
on the tractor itself that might not allow it to start and leave me guessing---thanx for any help you might offer

That engine runs off a mag and by hooking 12 volts to the coils will burn them up. Yes to everything else.
