I have a Cub Cadet 2284 that the deck will not level. I inherited the Cub from another mechanic. It had been disassembled to the point of being just a rolling chassis. It was nightmare to reassemble. The customer took it but says the deck isn't level and the hydraulics are not pulling it up correct or letting it down smoothly. I have a somewhat complete "manual" but it doesn't it doesn't list any means of deck adjustment. Can anyone help? I would be greatly overjoyed and so would he....
How is the steering ?

When was the last time you changed the filter & hydro oil ?
I could not find the IPL for the deck lift
Usually there is a single adjustment on the end of the ram
The deck , like J D & Toro is a unique item, not considered as part of the mower so to check it We need the model number off the deck.
Early ones had adjustment both sides, latter it shifted to just one side of the deck.
