Just mowed the grass for the first time. my cub starts good and runs fine. I start to mow, go for a few minutes and the engine stalls. If I quickly disengage the PTO, before the engine dies completely, the engines starts to run again. Is there some sensor associated with the PTO that is out of adjustment? I already replaced the fuel shut off selonoid last year, so that's not the problem.

The very first thing you should try is new filters, air intake and fuel also a new spark plug. Start with the simple things first. There is no sensor on the PTO.
