Crankshaft question

I'm working on a Briggs and Stratton 129802. According to the parts list there were two different crankshafts used. 593916 and 797018. The 593916 was used on the older models, before code 97011300, and the 797018 on newer models. Mine is 96041758 so I would need the older 593916. However, it is harder to find and is more expensive than the 797018. Can someone tell me what the difference is in these two cranks? Will the 797018 work in my engine or do I have to have the 593916? Thanks.

The keyway angle may be different effecting timing.

Based on theor specs, the connrecting rod journal diameters are different for one thing. StarTech posted the tech bull dimensions.
