craftsman stalls when running downhill

Are you lifting up off the seat? Or maybe your float needs adjusting

had new carb installed----still have problem

It is going to be a lose safety switch. Just for fun unplug the kill wire from the coil and ride down the hill if it don't shut off then start looking at the seat switch. Try going down the hill with the pto off
