The attached video shows the problem I'm having. Makes a sound when I turn the key, but doesn't engage the starter. Has new solenoid and starter. I could use some ideas of what to check.
Make sure battery is fully charged. Can you turn flywheel by hand? Try it with spark plugs out.
Sounds like starter pinion is bouncing on flywheel teeth.
The battery charger says the battery is fully charged. The flywheel turns and the starter is not activating at all. The sound is around the key/solenoid.
Maybe bad new solenoid...the plate is bouncing on 2 big poles instead of connecting firmly. Maybe bad new starter. You can test these parts off the tractor.
