Thanks for the diagram.If the cover is easy to get to ,it should be an easy job.If the valve cover is not easy to get to I will leave the job to my yearly service guy.thanks Charlie

Update!!!!!! Was about to tackle the valve cover seal and found motor to be locked up with fuel dripping onto the floor.
since I was due for bi-yearly service this coming spring so I had it done early and had the carb checked.my service guy
changed the carb and problem solved ......so far.I just got the tractor serviced last week.I would have never guessed it was the carb. I have let it sit for a few days now so gonna check it again today.Charlie
