Attachments Craftsman Snowblower

Have an old craftsman snowblower, just wondering what this hose on line is that combining off engine. It's it some type of crankcase over pressure vent or scavenging port??? Reference attached photos.

It is crankcase vent (breather) hose. PN 35350.
