Craftsman rider quits running after a minute

Craftsman rider with fresh gas, plug, and filters still stops running after about a minute. Any help is appreciated.

I haven't. Just had a new one put in 18 months ago so didn't think of that.

If it shuts off in a couple minutes of starting it could be a fuel delivery problem. Clean it out and see.

If running ethanol fuel, you can expect fuel clogging issues in as few as two months.

Will it start back up or do you need to wait a few mins before it will start?
If you have to wait a few mins check the vent on the gas cap.
Ethanol will not clog the carb as long as you are using the gas up every couple of weeks.

Even month old gas will not clog up the carb.
