I have a Craftsman R110 rear engine riding mower about two years old. The drive slips in forward motion. I have to tuck my foot under the peddle to fully engage the drive. It's worst the higher the gear used. I usually cut the grass in 3rd setting. Is there an adjustment or is the belts worn?

Usually this will be debris build up under the mower preventing the pedal returning to the fully engaged position .
A weak spring or a spring that has chewed out its mounting will cause the same symptoms

Thank you. I'll look for any debris that you mentioned.
