I will have to research a bit how to sharpen the edges, but agree that would make a lot of sense.

I do think the dip stick is 12".

Looking forward to running that thing this weekend and cleaning all the leaves!!!
 
NO research needed except how to remove blades, WEAR GLOVES !!! ya go in through the BIG hole AFTER you remove the smaller chute assy, BE SURE SPARK PLUG WIRE IS REMOVED !!!! you will have to use a small block to hold the disc from rotating as you loosen the 2 screws from the blades, just grind the blades at the same angle, easy job ! see attach.
