Must of posted in wrong section.
I picked up a 1995 craftman diamond i/c commercial mower, model # 917.372833 , it only has 20 psi cold, throttle closed, I popped head off everything is functioning, piston and valve movement, I poured a cup of oil in the cylinder bdc,and let it sit a couple hours(on end of course), level stayed the same, hopefully thats an indication ring is ok. I know for sure it needs a new spark plug armeture or magneto, no spark.
Do you know if these engine's have the compression release features,hence 20 psi.

oh can a craftsman 6.75 eager 1 tec engine be swaped on this deck^^
